When you step into La Avioneta, you're greeted by a vibe that feels authentic and unpretentious, reminiscent of a cozy garage restaurant. The décor may be simple, but it's the flavors that truly take center stage. As customer Tim Biggs enthusiastically shared, their marlin tostada is nothing short of amazing, and the shrimp tacos are perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. This adds a delightful twist that keeps diners coming back for more.

It's worth noting that La Avioneta operates on a cash-only basis, which adds to its charm and old-school vibe. Though some visitors, like Danny's World, may find themselves yearning for ceviche, the overall reception remains overwhelmingly positive. This speaks volumes about the quality and taste of the seafood tacos available. Diego M's perspective on the marlin taco demonstrates the care put into the ingredients, with peppers and tomatoes enhancing each bite.

“ Cash only taco place with several types of seafood tacos. You order directly from the cook first. You pay after you'd had your meal. We went for lunch. Tacos are decent, the marlin taco with peppers and tomatoes was probably the best of the bunch. The place feels like it used to be someone's garage. It's a little rough around the edges. ”
“ Took a long walk from the cruise dock but it was well worth it. Marlin tostada was amazing and the shrimp tacos were perfect. Cooked perfect with just enough spice to make it worth seconds. ”
“ Never had eaten there before today and went there on a recommendation from a friend. Turned out to be pretty good. Little bit different than the normal shrimp tacos you get and they were great.. ”

“ It's a good place when you are in the area, the food is good as well and they have variety of options, from last time I have visited they reduced the portion sizes a little bit but still good. Please be aware that they do not take cards, is cash only and if you use dollars they will give you a low non-favorable exchange rate. I had the Marlyn tostada that day with shrimp on top. See the pictures below. ”
